Hello,

 

We are testing OCM in the Outlook 2016 32-bit desktop app we downloaded from Office 365 (fresh install). After creating three companies and linking their respective officers (contacts), we added 1 (one) task into one of the Contacts.

 

When we click  on the company again, it will not load the activities. There is only the load spinner taking ages to load and a blank space where it should display right away the Task we just added.

 

Please, how to fix this and get it working?

Please try clearing the cache of your IE browser with the steps below and check if the issue can be fixed. 

                1. Please go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases. 

                2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com". 

                3. Then, restart Outlook 2016.

this computer has a fresh install of Windows 10, there is no IE installed anymore into it. It came only with Edge. Please, advise how to fix this Outlook Customer Manager freezing issue.

If the problem still exists, you can try to disable the OCM add-in in Outlook Web App and re-enable it, check if it helps. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this problem.

 

As you’re using Outlook for Windows, please make sure the setting is check to allow website caches and databases. You can refer to below screenshot to check the setting (Open Internet Explorer and select Internet Options).

  1. A screenshot of the error message.
  2. The detailed version of the Outlook client.

Thank you. We just found out this OCM Activites freeze happens with only one Company. We are deleting the Company and recreating it. If any issue, I will post here, if no post, the issue is solved. Thank you.
