I am trying to login into OCM from IOS app, but continue to get an error

" Its not happening. We 're having a little trouble here. please try again later"

this has been happening for the past 2 weeks, Any suggestions, please?

Hello Yasharora,

 

Currently, the latest version of OCM for iOS client is 1.1.12, please go to App Store to check and update it. Please try again in that version and let us know how it goes. Also, make sure your iOS version is the latest one.

 

Meanwhile, to narrow down this issue, we'd like to know the following information:

  1. Whether you can access to OCM on OWA, or Outlook for Windows desktop client successfully?
  2. Whether other users in your organization also can't use the OCM for iOS?
  3. Had you tried to restart your phone?
  4. Had you tried to use a different solution to access to network to check it? Like cellular data network, home Wifi, work wifi, etc.
  5. Please capture a screenshot about the error message for us to check it.

Hi Rudy Thanks for getting back. I have the latest version of OCM and iPhone so don't think that it is an issue. I am using OCM as an add-in on outlook and it seems to be working fine. I have tried to access OCM on mobile data, different Wifi but nothing seems to be working. I have attached the screenshot of the error message that I am getting. When I try to log into OCM from iPhone, I enter the User id, Password and then the mobile code and that's when I get this message. Please advise Regards

Has this been resolved? I have a user who cannot access the OCM from the dedicated iOS app. We have tried everything.

I have the same issue, login and then a cartoon rockets hip with one engine falling off appears with the text you described. Have spent many hours with MS tech support to no avail. Uninstaller apps on pc and iPhone multiple times. Probably 10 hours or more invested with tech support from Microsoft. :thinking_face:

I have the same issue, when trying to login I get the 'it's not happening' message. confirmed on latest version, working ok in outlook desktop client etc. Have enabled add-in to Outlook for IOS. 

Any ideas?

Give up is my best advice.  This is a useless and, as far as Microsoft seem to be concerned, dead product.  We migrated to O365 last year with the intention of migrating from VTiger and using this for our CRM.

 

With 30+ years experience of using and developing CRM (I started with ACT! in 1987, and have used many since, including Goldmine, Dynamics and many others, including a number of Cloud CRMs), OCM does not even qualify to be called a CRM...

 

Like many, I could use E-Way, Zoho, Nimble, Insightly... the list goes on forever...   However.  I am paying to use an embedded one in O365, so why the hell should I?

 

In all the thousands of comments about how completely dysfunctional OCM is, I don't see anyone from Microsoft trying to make this work for customers who are paying for it!!!  In fact I have seen precious little from Microsoft discussing OCM at all.

 

Sorry for my rant Yasharora and hijacking your comment, but you need to know!

 

If anyone from Microsoft would now like to step up and tell me I'm wrong, I cannot wait to speak with you.  I have said before, I would be happy to pay a little extra a month for competent and integrated CRM, but OCM is neither of those.

This happens on my iPhone also. I have installed/uninstalled many times and worked with MS tech support for over 10 hours. Works fine on desktop. Why can't MS tech support figure this out? It is not an isolated case. Can I open another trial account for MS Office 365 Premium?

I have just been told byvMS tech support that there are many unhappy IOS users of this app on iPhones. Common issue for which I was told to use and iPad or Android phone. I wasted Soooooo much time I will never get back. And I got rid of Dynamics 365 because it broke so often. Unbelievable!!!

I know it is no help to anyone at all, but all I can say is, good luck with that.  I think Microsoft have simply been keeping their heads down and pretending there isn't a problem here for quite a while.

 

I have said elsewhere, that Microsoft have a long (and often good) track record of buying software titles and incorporating them into their own infrastructure. Afterall, O365 is already an evolving collection of different apps which (sort of) work together.  I think they would do a better job if they bought in a 3rd party CRM and integrated it with O365, there are a number out there which do this already.

The problem is, there are thousands of users asking for answers and nobody replying or updating anything.

 

It has always baffled me that Microsoft have never developed a useable small business CRM.  It really should be at the heart of any software suite, as it has more influence on business productivity/growth than anything other software I can think of.

 

So, are we all wasting our time here because OCM is in fact a dead product?  Please update on that, so we can stop wasting valuable business hours on it...
