Openening Mails from Timeline in OCM / OL App

Hello, whenever I try to open an email from the timeline in OCM it switches to the Outlook app but fails to open the related email. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a work around? Du emails from the timeline have to be stored in the inbox in OL only? Because my first guess is, if I move emials t a specific sub folder beneath the standard inbox OCM fails to open the mail.

Hi Markus Funk,

 

Please check if clear IE cache can give it a shot.

 

To clear the OCM cache, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Please go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases.
  2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com".
  3. Then, restart Outlook 2016.
