I tried your recommendations but didnt work. Just to make sure you understand this is happening on my Desktop version of Outlook 2016, not online. I have attached some screen shots of the issue. When I click save for a new contact or company it just goes grey and a blue cirlce and never becomes avaialble to click.

I found the issue, at least for my problem - not sure how it relates to others on this forum, - I added a column and whenever that column was blank, I was getting the error. But once I started inserting a value, it got fixed.

Also, please don't try creating a company when adding a contact directly from the email. Add company name first then add contact otherwise it will have the same issue.

This is indeed the problem !! I also added custom fields. If the custom fields are filled out, the company is saved. If I leave the blank, an error is thrown.

Creating Contact using Customer Manager still has the same problem as posted 6/1/2017. 2 months seems like a long time to resolve this problem. Any status updates available?

More Info... I am on a Mac and using it in via the Outlook App, by clicking on the icon in the email. Adding a new customer still does not work.
I can not find any other way to view customer manager data except from the email (See #1). There is no customer manager app., or customer manager screen in the web access. So I click the icon, click view details, I can't save the contact because the save button does not appear. So I add a new company and get the spinning wheel (See 2).
I learned today I can add new customers/companies in an opened email via outlook on the web.
Separate from the issue, is there a way to view customer data on the mac? It would be nice to see a list of deals, managed companies, etc.
