Whenever adding a new company or contact to OCM, it continually saves with no end. The saving circles don't stop and they are greyed out. I can't delete them or delete them either. How do I fix this?

Hi Antonio,

 

Regarding the issue, please clear the cache of your IE browser with the steps below and check if the issue can be fixed.

  1. Please go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases.
  2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com".
  3. Then, restart Outlook 2016.

I tried your recommendations but didnt work.  Just to make sure you understand this is happening on my Desktop version of Outlook 2016, not online. I have attached some screen shots of the issue.  When I click save for a new contact or company it just goes grey and a blue cirlce and never becomes avaialble to click.

I found the issue, at least for my problem - not sure how it relates to others on this forum,  - I added a column and whenever that column was blank, I was getting the error.  But once I started inserting a value, it got fixed.

Also, please don't try creating a company when adding a contact directly from the email.  Add company name first then add contact otherwise it will have the same issue.

This is indeed the problem !! I also added custom fields. If the custom fields are filled out, the company is saved. If I leave the blank, an error is thrown.

I've got the same issue, but FYI I'm on a Mac.

I open an email, click the icon, type the company (the save and cancel buttons appear), click add new and then I get the spinning icon and the save button is always grayed out and never an option. So I have to cancel.

Creating Contact using Customer Manager still has the same problem as posted 6/1/2017.  2 months seems like a long time to resolve this problem.  Any status updates available?

 More Info... I am on a Mac and using it in via the Outlook App, by clicking on the icon in the email. Adding a new customer still does not work.  

 

I can not find any other way to view customer manager data except from the email (See #1).  There is no customer manager app., or customer manager screen in the web access.  So I click the icon, click view details, I can't save the contact because the save button does not appear. So I add a new company and get the spinning wheel (See 2). 

 

I learned today I can add new customers/companies in an opened email via outlook on the web.

 

Separate from the issue, is there a way to view customer data on the mac?  It would be nice to see a list of deals, managed companies, etc.

Any news on this? This error is keeping my colleagues away from OCM :(

The OCM seems still to be very buggy. Here I tried to change a task reminder and create a new deal for a customer. Greyed out with no possibility to delete or anything else. I cant use this "CRM" tool. Its not trusty to do so.
