We have a fluid sales team and I was hoping to be able to have our 4 employees use OCM on their computer for all exchange email boxes.  

 

When we try to use OCM in a delegates email folder, it gives us a "You cannot perform this action. This add-in scenario is not supported in this folder' error.

 

Does anyone know a way around this?  Do I create a group or add email accounts to each outlook program so each program has the account for each exchange inbox?

I am facing the same problem in sared mail accounts.

Our main source of contacts and deals is from the shared mail accounts.

Any ideia how to solve this issue?

Hello,

At this time delegate accounts are not supported in Outlook Customer Manager and the accounts will need to be added individually.  The delegate fature cannot be used, but this may be included in a future implementation of the service.

Our sales team corresponds with clients using shared mailboxes (as recommended by MS).

When our sales team selects a client email and then clicks Customer Manager on ribbon, they are presented the info dialog stating "You cannot perform this action.  This add-in scenario is not supported in this folder."

Is this recommended best practice available some other way?

There are three of us using a shared mailbox as well and would like to start using OCM as opposed to an external CRM. The basic features of OCM work for us, however we want to use the shared mailbox for the sales team. Is there an upcoming release/update that will include this ability/feature?
