Hi,

We imported over 2000 customers to OCM but the problem is that they are not showing to anybody else in our group even though the option share is on? I also tried to import smaller amount of companies to OCM but that ended so that these were showing to others as well but at the same time they where showing as duplicates in my end. How to solve this? Please advice.

Hi Mika,

Do you using Outlook or Outlook Customer Manager to import contacts? Please refer to this blog to check if you use the correct steps to import contacts:

Hi,

I used OCM to import. At this point it doesn't matter though because all of our customer companies are there put nobody else can see them. Unless I turn sharing of -> save -> turn it on -> save when they do show. This is impractical and too much time consuming.

Hi Mika,

Thanks for your update.

Based on my experience, we need to enable the sharing if we want to share contacts in OCM. If you are interested in this feature, please submit your feedback to our related team via this link: https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/407082

Thanks for your understanding.

Now I do not follow you. Sharing is on for every Company in the OCM but they will not still show to anybody else then me in the group. Maybe something happened during importing? Is there a possibility to clear all customers from OCM and start fresh?

Hi Mika,

Yes, we can delete all contacts in OCM. Since the OCM contacts are stored as normal Outlook contacts, you can bulk delete contacts under Outlook 2016 People tab.

Then, you can filter the contact you want and remove them.

As a tip, please back up all Outlook contacts before doing this to avoid mistaken deletion.

After all unexpected contacts are deleted, please refer to the following steps to force update the OCM contacts.
1. Go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases.
2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com".
3. Restart Outlook 2016.

Also, you can refer to Lance’s reply in this article to delete contacts: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Outlook-Customer-Manager/Outlook-Customer-Contacts-can-t-be-d...

Sorry to say but no I can't. There are no companies at all under people's tab. Only way to do this is to manually delete them one by one from OCM directly. Very handy with over 2500 different companies.

Soape is not working because our virusdetection software and Windows defender are blocking it. No way around this. :(
