Once I created a company in the Outlook Customer Manager, it disappears the next time I open Outlook. Contacts remain but are not linked to a company anymore. What can I do?

Hi Matthias Brudler,

Please try to clear OCM cache and check how it goes.

1. Go to IE settings > General > Settings under Browsing history > Caches and databases.
2. Delete cache files for the website "outlookapps.com".
3. Restart Outlook 2016.

Hi Leo,
thanks for the quick reply and the tip. I have already tried this, unfortunately without a positive result.
I also noticed that newly created companies appear solely in the top bar under "relevant", but not in the list below. When I then close Outlook and open it again, they are gone. The contacts I had previously linked to those companies are then again unlinked.

Do you have another tip for me?

Edit:

By the way: the same thing that applies to companies also applies to deals. I can create some, they only appear under "relevant", and the next time I start Outlook they are gone again.

Hello, everybody,

may I hope for another tip?

In this way the OCM is simply not usable for me. Where is the data stored? I mean, the whole thing can't depend on an IE cache file, can it?

I can't afford to have dozens of companies and deals simply gone at some point...

Thanks in advance!

Too bad, I was hoping that the Outlook Customer Manager would be a useful tool. Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case. Thanks anyway.

Merry Christmas!

I see the same issues here, pity as OCM looks promising but the reality is anything but that
