I have the OCM button on the ribbon and it works fine, however, I don't have the button in the lower left navigation, nor do I have the Addins button under the 3 dots to open the OCM Today page.  Same behavior on 2 different computers.  Office 365 business premium using outlook desktop on Windows 10.  Thanks for any help!

Can you find the button like the following screenshot and click it?

If the issue persists, please try to remove the add-in, and add it again.

  1. Open outlook manage app setting view: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/options/manageapps
  2. Select “outlook Customer manager” and click “-“ to uninstall
  3. Restart outlook
  4. Reinstall add-in by going to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/options/manageapps click “+” and select “Add from URL”
  5. Enter URL https://ocm.outlookapps.com/GetManifest

Thanks for the response Johnny, unfortunately uninstalling and reinstalling didn't change anything.  I do have the blue OCM button on my ribbon in the upper right and it opens the sidebar fine.

 

Still nothing in the lower left menu.

I have the same issue. OCM is available at the ribbon and I can add contacts and deals, but cannot visualise the home page, deals page, etc. to follow up.

I am running the latest version of Outlook for Mac 16.10(180210) and already removed and added OCM but still no icon on the navigation pane.

In addition, I can't pin the OCM tab, since the pin icon isn't there either.

 I hope someone can find the solution soon as I was about to invest in a third-party CRM, but I would love to have this feature inside outlook. 

Guys, I just found out that is not a defect. They just didn't launched the full functionality for MAC users yet. Please vote bellow to speed things up!

I'm Matt Lopez, a Program Manager working on Outlook Customer Manager. One way we've seen this issue resolve is through the following steps: 

  1. Go to Account Settings in Outlook 
  2. Select the account with which you are trying to use Outlook Customer Manager
  3. Click "Change" 
  4. Check "Use Cached Exchange Mode" and "Finish" 
  5. Close and reopen Outlook 
  6. Go back to Account Settings and Uncheck "Use Cached Exchange Mode" and "Finish" 
  7. Close and reopen Outlook 
  8. Add-ins should display now 

If you still have problems, please let me know as there is one more fix we can try.

You are correct that this is not a defect on Outlook for Mac. Outlook Customer Manager's Today page is not supported on Outlook for Mac or Outlook Web App. We are investigating how we can support this functionality across the different versions of Outlook. We'll keep you updated!

I've seen this happen for a client as well, but they were already using cached mode.  This was a fresh install of Outlook on a new Windows PC.  Toggling cached mode off and on has no effect.  The OCM Task Pane does work though.  But no dashboard/module.

Hi, Same thing was happening to me. I managed to fix it by going to manage add-on. Turning the Customer Manager app off and back on . Now it works. weird

I have the same issue with the OCM Today page not working. The icons showed up and I've followed the steps provided earlier.  Please provide another suggestion.  This is the error message displayed,

So, @Matt Lopez (or anyone else from Microsoft!), your last post is dated February and it is now August. We are all desperate for your updates! Are you (or is anyone?) still working on OCM?
The main public O365 sales website states OCM is fully functional, with no caveats for Mac or OWA not working, but this is patently untrue, even though this is probably the most important reason we chose to migrate to O365. We feel badly let down.
Why has Microsoft so consistently dropped the ball on implementing a competent CRM for small businesses?
