Onenote packages for notebook template

Copper Contributor

I am using Onenote at work to keep tabs on lots of client projects. We set up a standard structure of folders and folder groups (like an index of each project). In the "old" version of Onenote 2016, we created a export package which I used to open a new replica empty notebook for each new project. This functionality has now been taken away in the UWP version. Does anyone have any good ideas about how I can create new notebooks which will include pre-determined folder/sub-folder structure?

@Stephen Michaelides  wow... this is an old one, but it's exactly what i'm running into now.

Did you ever find a solution to this? or a proper work around?

Thanks.

@Paulus_D hi, the way we are working with this is that we have an empty notebook, which is stored on sharepoint site so the whole team has access. When we want to start a new project, we make a new copy of that empty template and rename it as required. Hope that helps!
