Why is the user's email address visible in share link?
welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
I understand your concern about the visibility of your email address in the share link. This is a design choice by Microsoft to make the link more secure and personalized. However, I agree that it can also pose a risk of exposing your identity and personal information to strangers.
There are some ways to make the share link more anonymous, such as:
- Creating a guest account in your organization and using it to share files with external users.
- Using a third-party service that can shorten and mask the original link, such as Bitly or TinyURL.
- Using a different cloud storage service that does not include your email address in the share link, such as Dropbox or Google Drive.
However, these methods may not be ideal for your situation, as they may require extra steps, compromise security, or violate your organization's policies.

What a stupid thing to say. I just want to send a file. Microsoft stupidly exposes my name, the name of the organization I work for, my e-mail address, everything. Can this kind of stupidity happen?
