Use of OneDrive4Business with Office 2010

Hello,

I want to use OneDrive 4 Business to sync some Sharepoint Online libraries in the laptops of 1000 users with an Office 365 licence. These laptops use Windows 7 and Office 2010.

 

  • Do you know if it possible and efficient to work together with these softwares (OneDrive4Business + Office2010)?
  • Did Microsoft publish any technical information about this topic (I have spend 2 hours googling with no success)?

Hi Marc!

It is both possible and efficient (as long as you use the latest version of the OneDrive Client) but it is not "built in" in Windows 7 and of course You will not be able to use any of the great integration features that you have in the new/latest versions of Office.

So my answer is that it works but of course i have to recommend that you upgrade both Your OS and Office version in order to enjoy its full beauty.
