Upgrading to OneDrive for Business NGSC (process)?

We continue to use the built-in OneDrive for Business client as part of Office 365 ProPlus suite.  


Is there a non-manual process for getting our end-users up to the new NGSC yet, or is it all still manual?


I know there is a setting in the admin center, but that isnt retroactive from what I can gather.  I find the whole multiple OneDrive installations super confusing, so havent figured out how to explain it to end users yet.

The latest preview should allow you the automatic migration from Groove to OneDrive sync. Give a look to: https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Transition-from-the-previous-OneDrive-for-Business-sync-cli...

Don't forget, though, that the software is still in preview (i.e. beta): maybe you would wait for the GA release, that should be out at the end of this month.
