Hi,

I am looking for a solution/advice regarding sharing content (via ODB) with externals.

Is there anyway to create alert when someone shares something via ODB outside organization?

Is it possible to get it done with sensitivity labels, some policies, 3rd option?

What would be best approach here?

If you can recommend anything, I would be grateful.

If it's just alerting you want, use Alert policies: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/alert-policies?view=o365-worldwide
If you have MCAS licenses, you can create even more advanced policies. If you want to prevent external sharing, use the built-in SPO/ODFB controls as needed, or DLP policies if you need to prevent sharing of specific content only.
