OneDrive Business Storage Shared with Sharepoint?

Hi guys,

I can't seem to find this anywhere. I have multiple licenses 5+ of office 365 business. I recently increased my onedrive storage to 1.5TB do to my growing data. I have since moved it all into my sharepoint online site so its easier for all users. My question is, did I free up that 1.5TB in my OneDrive folder for more use or does OneDrive and Sharepoint Online share that 1.5 TB? I would like to move more data to the OneDrive for separate use.

OneDrive and SharePoint storage are not shared and completely independent. So the answer to your question is No
