Limit OneDrive WIndows 7 disk space

Are there any options to limit storage used by OneDrive NGSC on Win 7 persistent vdis? 
We will limit the storage quota but what are the options stopping users dumping large files on the local disk over and above the cloud-based quota? Is there any way to do folder level quotas on Windows 7? We aren't looking to provision more storage or use an FSLogix container or a separate drive. Do I have any other options other than a disk quota?

I believe the answer is No since Files OnDemand (feature I'm sure you know) is only available in Windows 10...so best you can do here is to teach your users to use the selective sync feature in the sync client
