HELP! Photos deleted from phone through Onedrive

Hi there, 

I recently starting using onedrive to back up my photos but it caused my email to stop working due to lack of space. I deleted the photos on onedrive to make space not knowing that it also deleted them off my phone. They are not in the recycling bin and microsoft chat said there was nothing they could do. My only shot they said is if I post it here and someone from the onedrive team tries to help through the backend.

@awong03 There is no one here who has more access than Microsoft. The OneDrive team has no presence here.

I am not sure where you encountered "Microsoft Chat" but you should contact Microsoft directly through the Help/Support links in the app/browser interface.

Please take some time to one of the many OneDrive tutorials online to understand how it works, and the difference between clearing space and deletion.

Also remember to keep backups in addition to OneDrive. If you don't know how to use cloud sync services like this then it is worthless as a backup.
