Hi MS Team Dev,
sorry for to be so 'ironic', but, is too 'expensive' the DEV team create some more couple of lines of code, for when the end user choose stop to sync an online folder (Microsoft Teams/Team/Files section) in order to be removed from its profile path and not show anymore on Windows Explorer???
To explain that case

Some users stopped to sync some folder and then back to sync or even keep saving files on that structure (because it is still visible/accessible on their computer) but which is no more linked to be updated with his account online on the OneDrive.
It cause files/folder not be synced as expected by the user, do you know what I mean?

When the user decide to stop 'sync' an online folder, pls, force the OneDrive app (with more couple of code lines) to ask the user about to perform 02 steps automatically to him:
1) Do the 'cleanup free space' for that folder and its files - to avoid consume disk space;
2) remove folder structure from the disk and also remove the 'link' on the Windows Explorer window (left side panel).
As you can see in the picture below, only 01 folder is set up to by synced but other 03 keep showing and create confusion!

* As we are partner, we got this complaint from a company that used Dropbox (before migrate to M365 with MS Teams and OneDrive) and it didn't happen to them! So, is the DropBox client app more smart then MSOneDrive app??
