We Cant Sync your OneDrive Right Now

I have been struggling with OneDrive connecting with the above error now for a few days in an Autopilot Pilot I have been working on. Essentially despite what was set in the policies nothing seemed to work and I could not find much out around the internet apart from pushing me to the SYNC section of the OneDrive Admin portal and the domain GUID. 

Eventually I stubbled across this post Allow OneDrive Syncing on AAD joined Devices - Systems Management Squad (sysmansquad.com) which seems that if you set any entry in the Domain , it blocks Azure AD machines from connecting to OneDrive. 


Just posting in case this proves useful for anyone with the same error and problem and saves you some time searching ;)
