Viewing outlook attachments offline

We love OD4B as it bring great functionality to the enterprise. However, I am wondering how some of you answer the question from your employees regarding files emailed them with a OD4B link and not the actual file. An executive pointed out its great to have the functionality however what does he do when he receives an email with an OD4B attachment link as he can't view the attachment when he is offline, like on a plane for example? So in his mind is a loss of productivity, since he can't view the files until he has internet again.

All ODFB clients should soon have the functionality to sync "shared files" as well, so you will have the ability to save them offline. Check out the recent Ignite session for more details: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Ignite-Content/BRK2118-Explore-OneDrive-for-Busines...

That sounds good my only problem is with OD4B in production now, these advanced features can't come quick enough.  I hope that feature is released very soon, as well as allowing more characters in the file names.

Hi Bradley,

I've just had an exec message me with word for word the same problem (I was in the air, I can't see modern attachments!) and your question is the one link that I keep seeing in results. I see there was supposedly functionality coming in ODFB to resolve this but I can't see anything obvious over a year later. Did you sort this issue?

Cheers,

Paul
