OneDrive client and file server

Hi,

currently we use for back-up our end user's files local file server. We map local end user's folders (desktop, pictures, documents) directly to file server. Do you have someone experience what will happen when we start synchronization with OneDrive client? Nothing because OneDrive client is connected with folders on PC? Or it will sync files from the server?

Default it will only create a OneDrive folder that will sync to local device with OneDrive in the cloud.
You can set OneDrive to sync these (some limitations)folders to called “known folder move“ but you need to stop the folder redirection first!
