Moved folder to Onedrive

After moving a folder from local drive to onedrive, I cannot copy the same folder back to same local drive. It keeps saying not enough disk space.  I'm not sure how my local disk lost all this space as it should be the other way around since I moved the folder to onedrive?

Also, I tried copying the same folder to another disk and it's not doing anything?

 Any help would be appreciated!

This is a big problem if Onedrive is keeping some cached space for synchronization purposes!

I hope someone run into this issue and can provide some help!
