Delay in logged in user getting access to files shared using groups

We share files in OneDrive using groups, i.e. we grant read or write rights to files to groups which contain users. We are finding that when you share a file using a group, if the users in the group is logged in to OneDrive then the user doesn't get access to the file for sometime (we are finding often over 30 minutes). If the user logs out and logs back in then the user seems to immediately get the access to the file. If we share the file the file to the user as a user then even if the user is already logged in to OneDrive, they get the access right away.

We would like to know if there is some way to get rid of this delay so that even when shared using a group, the logged in user gets access right away.
