OneDrive misses real changes, and processes imaginary ones

I have two instances, i.e. two accounts of One Drive running on my M1 Macbook Air.

The personal instance is constantly processing non-existent changes, eating up RAM and CPU cycles.

The company instance hesitated to realise changes that happened a couple of minutes ago, and only started syncing after I restarted the app.

Could You please, for the sake of everyone's sanity, finally fix the One Drive for Mac? Ever since I switched to Monterey, and OD made .. whatever stunts there were, it has been a constant source of frustration and time consuming troubleshooting. Oh it also heats up my laptop without actually doing anything useful. Charging for a service that just raises entropy is as bad as it gets.
