Can you please remove the drawing pen input (Stop button on Draw tab) when the user is on the Insert tab(Or any tab that won't benefit from pen input). It doesn't make sense for the user to be able to go to the insert tab and not use his pen for simple selection.
On Home and Insert the pen should act as a finger. On Draw and I guess View it can act as a pen.
I have a few more suggestions but this one I think must be a priority given that the pen enabled Devices are more usable with the vision of the application.
