Recording a PowerPoint deck using an audio track set to "Play across slides." Everything seems fine during recording, but when the show is rendered to video the audio drops out during every transition except straight cuts. The transitions are important to the video effect I want. The workaround I came up with is cumbersome and bizarre: first, transfer the mp3 audio track to my phone; second, play the audio on the phone (for cueing and timing) while recording the PowerPoint presentation with no audio; third, render the PowerPoint recording to video; fourth, bring it up in a video editing program and add the track there. Surely there must be an easier way. Please tell me what it is.
