Excel for mac saves pictures as .svg by default

Hi all,

 

Since the last update my excel on mac defaults to .svg when I am saving charts as pictures. This is a huge pain because a) I need to do hundreds of these and b) I cant use .svg only .png which used to be the default. Anyone know if and how to change the setting? I cant find it at all
