When an external user accesses an externally shared OD4B document using a Microsoft Account; the link to "Open in Word", "Open in Excel", etc. is never displayed. Users can only work with the Office Online suite. This issue exists regardless of web browser: Edge, IE, Firefox, or Chrome. It also does not appear that Office suite version matters as we have tested using Office 2010 and Office 365 ProPlus on monthly channel. Operating system does not seem to matter either as we have seen this issue on Win7 and Win10.
We have verified sharing settings are correct for:
Services and Add-ins
OneDrive for Business
Azure Ad Conditional Access (Not Used)
Any help in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated!
