UM, Skype for Bus Online, Exchange Online.

Hey Guys, 


I want to better understand how UM Dial Plans, UM Mailbox Policies, Skype for Business online and associated services (VM, Call Routing etc work). 


Is there an easy to follow set of documents that explains the above? I am confused on the how the whole process works, what the difference is between enabling a user in skype for business and then enabling that users Voice Mail features in exchange online.

But none of those documents cover any of the Skype for business stuff. I am using an E5 licenses with the Domestic calling plan. I can currently call myself and it rings so i know it works.
