Synchronizing local PST file with O365

Copper Contributor

Hi,

We are on preparation phase to migrate our legacy mail platform to Microsoft Office 365.

most of the individual mailbox has size more than 10GB, we are using third party application to convert the mailboxes to outlook PST and later import to Outlook app.

my question is, does the emails imported to the outlook app will sync with the office 365?

Thank you very much

If you have the Office 365 mailbox configured in Outlook and you are importing the PST to said mailbox, yes. Better yet, use the PST import service: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/use-network-upload-to-import-pst-files?vie...

Hi rubenaf,
In response to your query, importing the PST files into Outlook if you have your Office 365 mailbox configured within Outlook, the emails imported to the Outlook app should sync with Office 365. However, for a smoother and more step-by-step guide, I recommend to check this helpful resource: https://lazyadmin.nl/office-365/import-pst-file-into-office-365/
