store outlook365 on d drive

i have a 256 SSD and a 1 TB HDD. Outlook365 stores my emails on C. I need to move this to D as my C drive is full of programs.

Hello, @alistairjohnburch, to move your Outlook data to a new location, you have to move your PST file first, where the app can read and access it.


After that, you can create the account as a POP one, making the emails to be received to the default PST but not to the newly created PST.


Move the PST from C: to D:, access the file location on C: drive and cut and paste the PST file to the corresponding location on D: drive.


Here is the default file location on C: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\


As soon as you copy the file to the D: drive, create a new Outlook profile and add the new POP3 configured account.


Now hit File, Info, Account Settings, dropdown menu button, and choose your email account. Hit Change Folder in the footer.


Change the location to the default PST you saved on D:
