Skype for Business users are unable to contact Skype Consumer users

Hi Folks,

Skype for Business users are unable to contact Skype Consumer users. Skype for Business to Skype for Business Federation is ok but Skype for Business to Skype Consumer is not working.

Any suggestions ?

Was it working before, and now does not work - or has it never worked?

Do you have public IM enabled on the tenant?

As Rob said, you need to have it enabled on your end. In most cases, you have to wait for a while, and/or restart the client before you see the Skype contact. Yes, it's been enabled already.

It's new tenant where testing Skype communication to Skype consumer which is not working.

I already followed your suggested URL and waited for more than one week after enabling IM with Skype, still the same response.

Do you have a SfB Hybrid environment or is it pure Online?
