Microsoft has announced that it will be gradually releasing Sharing Reports (inside and outside of the organization) for SharePoint Online.
The administrators of the tenant will have the ability to export these reports as a CSV file and share with site, content owners and potential auditors.
This feature will eliminate the need to develop reports with Power Shell and other third party tools.
Thank you Microsoft!
From the O365 admin message center -
Generate the report which shows all shared content from the "Shared with External Users" section of the Site Usage page. The report outputs a CSV file that contains a row for every unique user, permission, link, and item that has been shared with both internal and external users.

Yeah, we've been hearing this for years. Check the "added to Roadmap" date, it's been over an year. It took me a day to create my report via the Graph, just saying.
So yeah, I'll believe it when I see it :p
