SharePoint Online and OneDrive Storage Limit

Iron Contributor

Hello,

I am looking into the SPO and OneDrive storage limit. From what I understand, here is what you get:

- At the tenant Level SPO Gives you 1TB + 10 GB per user license.

- Each licensed user gets 1 TB which does not count towards the SharePoint storage limit.

If you are trying to enforce best records and information management practices then you would probably tell your users to store corporate documents in SharePoint sites (defined as a result of proper information architecture). Given this fact, I think that the majority of the 1TB (per user) allocated to OneDrive should be re-allocated to the SharePoint storage capacity instead.

What are your thoughts on this?
