Secure Score not updating after enabling Security Defaults

Copper Contributor

I enabled Security Defaults on my tenant a couple of days ago, and expected my Secure Score would be updated to reflect some of the completed improvements. That hasn't happened. Example - Enable to block legacy authentication is resolved by enabling Security Defaults, but my score hasn't been improved.

This is per the following article:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/mtp/microsoft-secure-score?view=o365-worldwi...

If you turn on security defaults, you'll be awarded full points for the following improvement actions:

  • Ensure all users can complete multi-factor authentication for secure access (9 points)
  • Require MFA for administrative roles (10 points)
  • Enable policy to block legacy authentication (7 points)

That's great. I was about to reply to your first post that you probably only have to wait for it to populate. Thanks for the update though as it's always good to know. You should mark your own reply as a "best response".
