I have a client with Office 365 tenant. Has several domains configured.

The client wants assign administrative roles for domain, but I do not know if this is possible.

Hi @CarlosMorales,

Not currently. I have heard of this request for many years and there are several uservoices open for it including these

https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin/suggestions/18537046-admin-roles-with...

https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin/suggestions/10913301-splitted-adminis...

Would recommend you vote on the uservoices. Unfortunately, these are long running requests and they are unlikely to be picked up anytime soon.

It really makes sense for organisations who have several domains, several sites or several companies within a group working in the same tenant.

Hope that answers your question

Best, Chris

Thank @Christopher Hoard

I really apreciate you help.

We hope we can change in the short term.

Regards,

@CarlosMorales parts of this can be done. General Mgmt Role group commands, the important ones you'll need is; New-ManagementScope -Name "Admins of Domains.com" -RecipientRestrictionFilter { UserPrincipalName -Like "*domain.com*"} -Exclusive and New-ManagementRoleAssignment -SecurityGroup "Delegated Administrators domain.com" -Role "whicheveryourequire" -ExclusiveRecipientWriteScope "admin@domain.com"
