We have a date field in Employee Library which captures Employment End Date. The requirement is to set up retention policy to retain the document for 6 years post Employment End Date entered for a specific employee. It is possible to set up this policy but somehow it is not working. For testing, we have set it up to delete / move to Recycle Bin after 1 day of Employment End Date. However, it is not doing anything. But if we set it up against Created Date or Modified Date then it works fine.
Anybody has faced similar issues and if yes, what could be the possible solution.
