Outlook Navigation bar combine with folder view?

Is there any way to recombine the app/navigation bar with the folder view in Office 365? the most recent versions seem to have split them into two toolbars and now there's a bunch of wasted space on the screen. even with new functionality coming to the App/Navigation bar, it still makes sense to have it combined with the folder view

i need to know this! initially my navigation bar was in the same column as my folder pane but it suddenly moved to the left, now they are side by side and its annoying. please advise.
