Outlook 365 Problem with Imap mail server

My wife is having a problem with Outlook 365.  Her email is configured using IMAP.  When she does a send/receive it takes much longer that it should.  When we right click on a folder and choose IMAP Folders the program hangs.  After about 10 minutes the IMAP query window finally appears.  I recreated her account on my computer with absolutely no issues.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365.  I noticed on the reinstall I didn't need to recreate her email accounts which makes me suspicious that it didn't completely uninstall.  My next thought is it might be a corrupted .ost file, but I don't know that much about Outlook 365 to fix the .ost files.  Has anyone run into this problem?

I've not seen that before, but I am wondering - If you have Outlook, why are you using IMAP?

Outlook is my email client to access my Xfinity email.

So to be clear, your wife does not have an Office 365 email account, just the Xfinity account?

If so, and using IMAP, the storage file would be a PST file, not an OST file.
