Office365 Exchange - send email as an alias but no access to alias mailbox

Copper Contributor

Hello to everybody,

I want to make a user with regular mailbox (exchange kiosk license) to be able to send emails as another user's address (shared mailbox) but to not have access to the shared mailbox user's data. Only to send as a mailer.

How can this be achieved ?

Simply grant him Send As/Send on behalf of permissions. They do not grant any type of access to the actual mailbox content.

I already know that, we want to send direct as the shared mailbox address and not as on behalf of.

Any other workaround ?

Which is exactly what Send AS does.
