Hi,
We sync our on premise AD to Azure and use on-premise groups to manage permissions to sub sites etc. for Office 365.
When a create a secondary calendar and try to share it. It only allows be to share with individual users.
It is possible for me to match the group membership but would be easier from an admin perspective if I could simply share with the AD group.
Is this possible?

Only with mail-enabled security groups.
