Office 365 business essentials encrypted attachments with azure

I have a customer who has office 365 business essentials who would like to send encrypted emails. 

I understand that azure will allow the customer's emails to be encrypted but will azure encrypt the attachment?

If you are using an office document then yes it will be encrypted, you will see this message when sending an email that is encrypted with a word doc for example
