background:

"New Comment" or "Comment(s)" in general within Microsoft Word is a part of the track-changes family.

each new Comment is provided a sequential number.   For example if my user name is David Smith and my initials are DS then each Comment will be labeled [DS1], [DS2], etc and appear in text of the word document..

Problem (BUG): when i click on Next (skip to next comment) or Previous (skip to previous comment)  a window pane labeled "Revisions" appears with all respective track changes including Comment(s).

When viewing the comments in the Revisions pane - in place of labeling DS1 , DS2 , etc.. the full user  name "David Smith" is displayed .. now imagine that I have 50 Comments .. each one labeled David Smith.. and then figuring out which one of the David Smith comments is comment # DS40.

This problem (bug) has been around for over six months now or more..

What is the workaround - ? or when can a patch / fix be provided?

Thanks David
