Mail notification that a mailbox has reached 90GB

is there Mail notification for USer and Admin that mailbox has reached 90GB?

 

this is to keep the mailbox from reaching 100GB and avoid failure in send recieve.

Yes, a warning is sent when the mailbox gets larger than "IssueWarningQuota" setting.

Check with this:

Get-Mailbox <Identity> | Format-List IssueWarningQuota,ProhibitSendQuota,ProhibitSendReceiveQuota,UseDatabaseQuotaDefaults

is it a pop up warning or an email warning?

It sends an e-mail message to the user.

I don't have a sample message handy

mail notification will be from which smtp address?

I assume from the Admin role that did the setup...by the way, this is something you could easily test with two test accounts
