In the middle of a Word document my keyboard started typing French accented letters in place of [ ] \ ; ' /. If I return to top of doc , keyboard ok. I can use the Control key as an inconvenient workaround. What have I done to switch the keyboard layout? How do I switch back to the standard English language? The problem does not occur as I type this message. I have an HP laptop and Windows 11.
