Issue with 'Personalised Email Address' setup

I recently transferred my domain to GoDaddy to make the most of the 'Personalised Email Address' feature offered by my 'Microsoft 365 Family' account, but I'm having issues completing the setup.

 

Office 365 verifies that the domain belongs to GoDaddy, however when directed to the GoDaddy control panel to complete setup I am shown the following error message: 'domain isn’t in this account. If you’re in the wrong account, to the right one'.

 

I have tried this multiple times but get the same result each time. I'm presuming this is because the domain's nameservers point to my host (not GoDaddy), meaning that my DNS settings are managed here rather than with GoDaddy. Does this seem correct and would there be any custom DNS records that I could add to resolve this?

 

I have discussed this with both GoDaddy and Office 365 support teams, but neither have been able to provide any helpful information. Any advice would be appreciated!

You have to move your domain to GoDaddy to get this to work. I'm waiting for them to add the option to use any DNS provider, not only GoDaddy.
