Install office365 on boats with low bandwidth (MSI vs. C2R)

Copper Contributor

We have boats on the sea with 4MB bandwidth and about 10 users with computers. Is it ok to install Click-to-Run (C2R) software (Office 365 ProPlus) on the computers? Users should use sharepont online.

With MSI I think maybe we have to do yearly updates, but better with automatic updates  which works well for our users on land

With the Office deployment tool
Mentioned you can set the different update rings for the boat computers vs the on shore ones
Could you use the offline installer approach, or some variant of it?

Perhaps have the offline source on a removable disk, which can be taken on board when the ships are in port.

Use the semi annual channel, to reduce the update data volumes, etc.
