I paid full price for Office 365, yet I only see Word 2010 on my PC

Copper Contributor

I have a Microsoft 365 subscription.  And yes it's current. When I click Word on my PC, I see version 2010, even if I paid full price for 365 for the latest versions. MSFT owes me an explanation, I feel scammed. Yes I the latest Office 365 downloaded on my PC, yet it's still shows Word 2010. Since I have had Microsoft 365 for the last few years, I can't help but feel like they have been doing this to me for years. I need the latest version, I paid for it. Here is a screenshot if the version of Word that I have, it's supposed to be Word 2016. I feel duped. Misleading MSFT Word Version.png

@john_antonacci Good day!

On the screenshot that you have provided, I can surely say that your product is Microsoft 365. I think the misunderstanding comes in the Version 2010 here. It does not mean Office 2010 and if it is Office 2010, it should look like this:

The Version 2010 that you are seeing on your screenshot with Build 13328.20408 is the version and the build number of the Current Channel of Microsoft 365 that was released last November 17, 2020.
