Hi,
We use Outlook 2016 with connecting to Office 365. One user requests to give another use READ permission to all his Outlook folders including all subfolders.
I noticed the permission are not inherited. For example, if the user A gave user B Read permission to Inbox folder, User B can only access Inbox folder. User B can not see any subfolders under Inbox folder.
I wonder if there is a way to share all Outlook folders including subfolders Read permission to other people. We don't want to give user B Full Access on the server end.
Need help!
Thanks in advance!

You will have to enumerate all the folders and grant permissions to each of them. Here's a script I wrote a while back to get you started: https://www.quadrotech-it.com/blog/setting-mailbox-folder-permissions-in-bulk-via-powershell/
