File sharing with external users

Hi guys
I’ve been tryin for the last 6 hours before asking you experts ...
I’ve read posts and tried so many things in the office 365 admin and I feel totally lost !
When I try to share a file with someone not in my organization, it keeps sayin my organization policy prevents me from doing this :pensive_face::pensive_face::pensive_face:
Same thing in OneDrive and Sharepoint ...
Has smthg changed recently with this ?

Did you have external sharing enabled prior to this in your various O365 services - such as SharePoint?

What type or site you want to share from? If this is a modern SPO site, you have to configure external sharing using PowerShell: https://peteskelly.com/enable-external-sharing-for-office-365-group-site-collections/
