I have a Excel file saved in my one drive. I then uploaded this Excel file into a Sharepoint group. My thoughts were if the excel file on my one drive was updated, this would follow through to my sharepoint group. However, my sharepoint file I uploaded is not changing.
Please note that OneDrive and SharePoint are two different storage locations. If you wish to reflect your change done on OneDrive to SharePoint then you need to keep the file link on the SharePoint.
1. Generate the link to the file from OneDrive and then creating a Shortcut in Windows 2. Right click the file in OneDrive and choose 'Copy Link' 3. Go to Windows Desktop, create a Shortcut and paste the link as the path and keep the file on the SharePoint.
